　 Abstract:
　

      Map publication belongs to a part of figure and image science. But it has its own specialties. In recent years, with computer technology, laser technology and aerial remote sensing technology rapid development, its processing technology has been renovated. In this paper, introduced information acquiring method, processing technology and measuring method during map publication, and also discussed questions which remain to be further resolved.
