  Abstract:
 

    Very stabledye pigments for ther generation layer in xerographic system are one of the perrequisities for the development and production of highly sensitive drumsfor copiers with a large number of cycles.
With especially interest are investigations on the field of AZO pigments because there exist a lot of possibilities in variations of the chemical structures.
    We present three new pigments with very highly efficient structure for using in xerographic double layer systems with a sensitivity in the range of 400 up to 650 nanometers.
    The xerographic properties are compared with the well known highly sensitive Oxadiazole and Fluorenone derivates.
