Welcome to participate The 6th International Conference on Imaging Science and Hardcopy
INTRODUCTION
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th International Conferences on Imaging Science and Hardcopy (ICISH'92, '95, '98, '01 and '04) were convened respectively in 1992, 1995, 1998, 2001 and 2004 in the famous Chinese cities of Shanghai, Guilin, Chongqing, Kunming and Xi’an. All of them were sponsored jointly by Reprographic Scientists and Engineers Society of China (RSESC), The Image Society of Japan (ISJ) and The Society for Imaging Science & Technology (IS&T). These conferences have brought together scientists and engineers in imaging science from all over the world and have made a real contribution to enhancing international research and communication in the Imaging Science and Hardcopy (ISH) realm.
RSESC, ISJ and IS&T will together hold the 6th ICISH in Zhanjiang City, the modern city of southeastern China, in January, 2008. We believe that it will be a great occasion for scientists, scholars and technologists from all over the world to display the newest achievements and latest developments in the ISH realm and to further international understanding and cooperation in this field.
APPLICATION FOR
CONFERENCE
You are cordially invited to participate in the 6th ICISH in Zhanjiang City, China, in January 10～13,2008 to show your latest research achievements and product information and to communicate extensively with co-workers from around the world. At the same time, you will learn the latest developments in the field from the specially invited reports and technology lectures arranged by the conference.
All participants need to fill out the application form, and prospective authors also need to submit an abstract of 100~200 words. (Both Chinese and English abstracts are required for Chinese authors.) Those who want to issue new product or technology information must provide the name and a description of about 200 words related to the new product or technology.? (Both Chinese and English descriptions are all required for Chinese authors) ?Please send the application form and paper abstract or product description before July 30, 2007 to the appropriate name below:

Notification of paper acceptance will be sent out before August 30, 2007.In order to publish the proceedings at the conference, the deadline for receiving the finished paper is November 30, 2007. The organizing committee will send the required format for the paper together with the notification of the acceptance of the abstract. The proceedings will be provided to each representative at registration.
